"The Creative Side of Dancehall"

Dancehall dance moves - Since the inception of dancehall music in the 1980s, there has being a lot of creative dance moves which are sometimes accompanied by a song with the same name.

In the early days of Jamaica's music, the most popular dance moves were Ska and Rocksteady.

Dancehall artiste and Dancer Ding Dong

The 1980's saw a change in music from Reggae to Dancehall and with this came some of the most exciting and mind blowing dancehall dances.

Some of these dancehall dance are pretty easy to do, But other aren't.

In my opinion the easiest dancehall dance is the "Signal the Plane", done by Elephant man. Signal the plane is like you are waving to someone, only that you do this to a dancehall tune or riddim.

We have put together a list of some of the TOP DANCE Moves along with Videos, the one that we could remember. If you can remember a dancehall dance which is not listed here.
