Before we delved more into this topic, Did you know that Dancehall music is a sub-genre of Reggae Music?, Yes it is, Dancehall Music was originated in the late 1970s.

Dancehall Dance moves or step became popular in the early 2000s, this was due to the artists such as Elephant Man, Voicemail (Group), RDX (Group) and Mr Vegas, who were at the time doing a lot of dancehall hits which contains mostly dance steps.

One of the world most famous Dancehall Dancers is Bogle, he is also known as the Godfather of dancing in dancehall. Bogle was a master at his craft and created numerous dance moves.

The Revival of Dancehall Dancing after Bogle Death

After the 1990s when Mr Wacky aka Bogle ruled the dancehall dance floor until his unfortunate death on January 20, 2005.

There was a lul in the Dancehall Dancers movement until dancer turned artist Ding Dong revive the popular dancing movement in the parties along with his crew the Ravers Clavers.

Bogle, Ding Dong and his Ravers Clavers dancers are undoubtable the Best Dancehall Dancers that the Dancehall genre have ever seen.
