Everyone has their own view, what's yours?.

Back in the 1990s the matie was the woman who had most of the talk.

The 2000s is said to belong to the wifey. Most dancehall fans are now saying that the wifey is getting better treatment than the matie.

The Maties are now hitting back saying they are the ones who get the better treatment. They get the regular phone calls, taken out regularly, always get what they want and do the least work.

With the released of DJ ZJ Liquid's song "Wifey walk out and Matey Stand up" all ladies are saying they are now the wifey.

(Jamaica) It sometimes depend on the situation at home. Some wife take good care of their men so they get good treatment. While there.

Are some matey who treat the man better than the wifey so they get good treatment, because some woman crazy n don't know what they want so they turn the man against themselves.

Then again some men genuinely kind and treat woman good n try balance it out. But all in all I do not support the matey thing.
