Money in the Bankx! Riddim album breaks into top 10 for newcomer A’Legends Productions


Fashion designer, actress and author turned music producer, Jenelle Alexia, is making money moves as she embarks on this new journey with her label, A’Legends Productions.


Her first project, titled Bankx Riddim, debuted at number 9 upon release on March 1.

Alexia was concerned about the album’s performance in the wee hours of the morning when it didn’t appear on any charts but by 3pm Friday afternoon, she breathed a sigh of relief when it debuted at number 9 on the Reggae Albums Chart. “Wull Heap”, a song by TOK’s Bay-C and Xyclone featuring Zagga on the number 1 reggae album in the US called Flawless Victory, also charted on the Reggae Singles Chart, peaking at number 12.

Bankx Riddim is a 10-track compilation album featuring various artists from Jamaica and the United States, both established and upcoming acts. It was produced entirely by Jenelle Alexia for her A’Legends Productions label and distributed by OneRPM.
When asked why she named it the Bankx Riddim, Alexia stated, “I picked up the name Lexi Bankx so I dropped the Lexi and just called it Bankx, to manifest my millions in a different way.”

While still learning the ropes in this highly competitive industry, Alexia is surrounded by support she finds in the friends she’s made along the way. Her own determination and dedication to everything she puts her hands to is the driving force for the successes she’s had in her previous endeavors.

Her A’Legends clothing brand has been endorsed by several established artists like Xyclone, Ding Dong, Vershon, Delly Ranx, D’Angel and Macka Diamond and has been featured in several music videos and small screen movies.

Alexia has the marketing and promotion team at Ejor Media Group and her PR Lesley Hayles to thank for their persistence in delivering her products to the world and getting her feet wet on this new path in her career.

She will be live in-studio on March 2 with Dr MichelleG on Get With The Fix Radio alongside all the artists featured on Bankx Riddimfor an album release party. Everyone can tune in live on Instagram starting at 4pm EST.
