Who is this Kahlam that is making airwaves in Nigeria and Zimbabwe since recently?

When we contacted Kahlam team to did an interview it was such an amazing feeling he said to be gaining fan base in some parts in the mother land of Africa.

He recently Was contacted by an new recording label located in Zimbabwe island flava records, where they found one his first song he ever did titled how she whine they said they are gonna at little magic to it.

Kahlam stated that they did just that
Lucky to say he has this business mind and madly deeply in love with music and from our listen to the song its amazing but we asked him how an Reggae Singer move from reggae to Afro music.

He said I have always wanted to do other music and when islandflavarecords contacted my management I was glad to give them the permission to remix my song.

Kahlam whose birth name is Melbourne Calame is a Reggae recording artiste/ Song writer from Jamaica in Montego Bay. He was born on the 27th of November 1998.

He attended the Irwin High School where he was expelled From then he when to Hopewell High School then right after completing there his last place of schooled education was at the Heart Trust NTA.

He grew up in a humble home with his mother, stepfather, his older brother and one younger sister. He started doing music from primary school where he when to JCDC festival several times as long as he can remember and gets motivated by the music and musical works of dance-hall superstars Beenie Man and Vybz Kartel and some other big names in the industry.

Also being descendant of African culture he is emerging into the Afro Music.

Kahlam always have the thoughts of unity to elevate the dance-hall/reggae genre of music and said that is one of his main aim heading into the industry. Kahlam music is based up of his personal experiences in life and what he see’s happening around him on a day to day bases. Which further points out his lyrical content in his singles to come.
