Reggae Gospel Music

What is Reggae Gospel Music one might be asked? Like dancehall Music, this form of Reggae music originated in the mid-1990s.

While Reggae Gospel Music is not accepted or suitable for all churches and services, It plays a big part in praise and worship.

Since of lately a number of Reggae artists are now performing this form of music.

Gospel artist Papan San -  Papa San - Tyrone Thompson was born in 1966 in Spanish Town, St. Catherine, Jamaica.

He is known for his lightning-fast deejaying/toasting over the microphone.

San was born in music because his father was in the sound system business.

Marion ‘Lady Saw’ Hall

Marion ‘Lady Saw’ Hall, born 12th of July in Saint Mary, Jamaica, is known primarily as “The Queen Of The Dancehall".

She is the first Jamaican female (Dee-Jay) to win a Grammy Award and to be certified a triple-platinum artist. She is also the first woman to headline dancehall shows outside her native Jamaica.

 MR. GODDY GODDY is committed to doing whatever it takes to win souls for the Kingdom of God. He has realized the power of the DJ ministry and is using Reggae Music to take the message of salvation to the inner-cities across Jamaica and the rest of the world.
