Reggae artiste Ras Slick enjoying tour - Reggae artiste Ras Slick is finding success with his Penultimate Tour, which kicked off this spring in Chicago and includes dates through the summer.
Named after a mini documentary film he released earlier this year, the tour sees the artiste performing on a number of high-profile stages.
Before a sold-out audience in Chicago at the Wild Hare concert venue, Ras Slick and the Dutty Bus Crew wowed the crowd with explosive sets of original and cover music.
At the second Midwest stop, the band thrilled a massive crowd at the Vegetable Buddies One Love reggae concert in South Bend, Indiana.
The summer dates on the tour have also been successful. This month alone, Ras Slick and his band have served as the backing band for reggae star Nesbeth and opened for the legendary Cocoa Tea at the historic Howard Theater (Washington, DC).
At the upcoming World Reggae Music Festival in August, the band will share the stage with reggae luminaries, including Toots and the Maytals, Shabba Ranks and Chronixx.
Ras Slick also has a new lover's rock release, Late Night. Other great new music sparking a buzz are Crazy Glue and Concentrate.
