Chan Dizzy who's birth name is Kamar Ho-shing started out in the dancehall and reggae music business from a early age as a disc jock on a local sound system.

This, while he was still attending Wolmer's High School.

After graduating he decided to take up music as a career. He first started as an engineer and also writing songs.

Like most artists they would tell you that it is very hard to break into the reggae/dancehall industries.

In an interview dizzy said "Its very challenging to get your songs breaking into the dancehall.

Chan currently (November 2010) has one of the hottest song in the dancehall. The track is titled "Nuh Strange Face".

He said artiste such as Beenie-man, Bounty Killer and Buju Banton are artiste that he look-up to, this is due to there longevity
and how they managed to remain relevant for years.

His latest single "Nicest Feeling" feat J Capri, is getting heavy rotation on local radio stations.

Dizzy is currently working under Head Concussion Music label.
