Maxi Priest dancehall reggae singer
Dancehall reggae artiste Maxi Priest, the singer who's real name is Max Alfred was on June 10, 1962 in Lewisham, London, England.From birth Priest as he is also called had music around him because he is the nephew of one of reggae music Icon Jacob Miller, who is the lead singer for the group Inner Circle. This reggae Singer grew up listening to Gospel, Reggae, R&B and Pop music. Most lovers of his music consider it to be more closer to R&B and Pop than to Reggae.
Like most of dancehall and Reggae music artists, He too started out singing on a Sound System, Maxi started singing on a south London sound system by the name of Saxon Studio International.He gain international stardom through his hit single "Wild World" a cover of Cat Stevens song.
