Fast rising dancehall artiste Gaza Slim is taking the world by storm with some very hard hitting dancehall tracks.

The artiste who's real name is Vanessa Saddler, is also or was a member of the Vybz Kartel led Portmore Empire.

Slim had a very successful 2012 with hit songs such as "Independent Ladies and One Man.

She grew in the Lawrence ave of Kingston, St Andrew, Jamaica, she was educated at the prominent Oberlin High School.

She got her fist break into the dancehall music industry in 2007 when she recorded the vocals for 'Only God Knows' a track for dancehall comedic duo Twins Of Twins.

It was a friend of her who introduced her to an associate of Portmore Empire, who later made the link with Vybz Kartel.
