Tanya Stephens - Corners Of My Mind (Guilty) feat Sanjay Official Music Video and Lyrics

Tanya Stephens and Sanjay

Tanya Stephens drop the video for her Sanjay-assisted single “Corner Of My Mind.”

The video starts out with Tanya Stephens packing up her back to her with her new man while her old man, played by Sanjay, is inside reminiscing.

While inside packing up she stumbled upon a bracelet given to her by Sanjay and started having second thoughts as he put it on her hand.

The end was very tragic, while they were hugging he pulled out a gun and put it to her side and pulled the trigger.

Tanya Stephens - Corners Of My Mind (Guilty) feat Sanjay Lyrics

In the corners of my room
Don't you waits for me
She said she leaving
She said she gone
In Corners of my mind
I tried to figure
Where did we go wrong
Where did we go wrong

Baby it could be someting simple
Snap and mek we cross the line
A little too much wine can whap the mind
Or maybe it wasn't our time
Maybe we could have done everything a little different
And it still turn out the same
Or we could have played every record right
And the out come could have change for the worst
We could have write the song by the book
Get the best hooks
Still fall out pon the verse
Best we get, no regrets

And some day when some other gyal
A get pon you nerve
and some other man a less than what me think me deserve
And we back to perplex
Memba old friends rebound sex a di best

In the corners of my room
Don't you waits for me
She said
she leaving
She said she gone
In Corners of my mind
I tried to figure
Where did we go wrong
Where did we go wrong

In the corners of my room
Don't you waits for me
She said she leaving
She said she gone
In Corners of my mind
I tried to figure
Where did we go wrong
Where did we go wrong

Just want you fi know say mi love fi you will never die
Even thou, i'm gone, my lovem a tek on a life of its own
Am still gonna write song about we
This a the kinda a love story
They turn in a movie
Mi nuh care who play me
But you, you deserve to have a intro custom made by your side of what happen when a ego strip the pride
Thinking we could make it if we try
One more time, just be still, and be mine
This is a good life
Its just a re-entrek

There's no reason why we can't still be friends
Baby even with benefits
why, why
One more time, just be still and be mine
Mine mine

In the corners of my room
Don't you waits for me
She said she leaving
She said she gone
In Corners of my mind
I tried to figure
Where did we go wrong
Where did we go wrong

Can i remind you of words like
Forever..forever
Can i remind you how we were..Together

In the corners of my room
Don't you waits for me
She said she leaving
She said she gone
In Corners of my mind
I tried to figure
Where did we go wrong
Where did we go wrong

This song I have had on replay all morning. It is such a good reminder to us women to be careful of the men we date even the ones that seem so simple. I feel sad and near tears when listening, but I still can't stop. And the tears never flow but I just hope within myself to never be in this situation. More power to the women who manage to escape any abusive situation they find them self in and RIP to the ones who never mange to make it out.
