Pure Roots produces authentic reggae music, capturing a spiritual sound, emphasizing strong melodies and heavenly harmonies. Pure Roots' talent reaches into the modern age, with accomplished reggae artist Emmanuel Selassie and Jeff Allgrove inside the control booth. It's roots reggae music that's being pushed to new limits.

Rising out of Santa Cruz, California, USA, Pure Roots formed in early 2007, with members from Emmanuel Selassie, in the the studio with Junior "One Blood" Reid. They released their first single "Jah The Highest" and the dub remix "Jah The Dubbest" in January 2012, featuring Junior Reid and Briana Kai, recorded and produced by Emmanuel Selassie and Jeff Allgrove in the ESI Sound Studio with Right Vibes Productions and JR Records.

Pure Roots is currently in the studio working on the album "Youth Rising," which will be released internationally in Summer 2012.

Rygin King ready to take dancehall throne - He has been racking up hit after hit in recent times. His songs, 'Things Go Change' and 'How Me Grow', have been creating a buzz on the local scene, igniting the dancehall space and has helped to cement the up-and-coming artiste's place on 'the ones to watch out for' list.
