My' Werks Music/Productions Releases "BRAN NEU" By Benjy Myaz f/ Marcia Griffiths


My' Werks Music/Productions presents the long anticipated "BRAN NEU" from Statesman of the Arts Mystro, Benjy Myaz featuring the Legendary Icon Queen Marcia Griffiths OD.​


"BRAN NEU" is a reggae love song with a roots rocking feel, a duet that will be recognized and respected on the global music scene for their outstanding vocal talents of Benjy Myaz and Marcia Griffiths. Benjy Myaz dubbed the Mystro is especially known for being a well-rounded musician.

The song which is suitable for all occasions was written, produced and played by Benjy Myaz for My Werks Music, along with “Ben Bow” on drums.


The inspiration for "BRAN NEU" came about when Benjy Myaz performed at Moonsplash, a festival in which Marcia Griffiths appeared on in Anguilla in 2010; during which time they discussed the possibility of the duet.


Production for the song started outside of Jamaica at Starz of David Recording Studio in the USA. With this in mind, Musical Director (MD) of My' Werks Music/Productions expresses gratitude to all involved in this leg of the production, “First much respect to the crew at Starz of David Recording Studio along with a talented brother, Jay Mello for helping to initiate this one. Thank you brothers for spending time with me, laying down this track on a birthday 5 years ago.”


Work continued in Jamaica at My' Werks Music Recording Studio. “Highest respect
to a real brother and friend Mr. Everol Wray aka Stingwray for his time, his dedication in assisting and executing our recording sessions here in Jamaica, both as Recording Engineer & Brass Specialist,” says MD of My' Werks Music/Productions.


My' Werks Music/Productions expresses deepest love and respect to The Legendary One, Iconic Figure, Queen of Reggae, Marcia Griffiths, OD for coming through on this one. They also acknowledge and thank the multi-talented two - Charmaine Hayles and Dawn Martin on background vocals. “Paramount best describes the vibez, while I’m extremely grateful to have had you both in one room on the same track and the same time!”


The finishing touch of mastering this melodious production by two veterans in the reggae industry was done by musician/producer, Paul Henton aka Computer Paul.
