Lady Saw aka Marion Hall in first gospel concert
Sunday, March 27 … mark that date on your calendars! And why should you? Well that will be the evening when converted deejay Marian ‘Lady Saw’ Hall appears in her first ever full fledge gospel concert.
The event will take place at the Evander Child High School in Bronx, New York and gospel lovers will get to see the woman who was once deemed “the queen of the dancehall”.
This time she will be coming as “a royal priesthood” a queen of another sort – the queen in the kingdom of God.
From all indications the artiste is rearing to proclaim the undiluted gospel to her fans when she takes centre stage.
Lady Saw although was focusing on dancehall did manage to throw in some gospel gems even while she was at her most riotous on stage.
Do you all remember the touching Heaven, Praise Him, Glory Be To God and more recently God In the End.
Lady Saw is very passionate about her calling and has expressed how committed she is to it. This will be a prime chance for the female artiste to join fellow converted dancehall artiste Stitchie who is also billed for the show.
