K Starr 'Real Friends'
The age old saga, of real friends versus the frienemies, is challenged once again, in debut single and video "Real Friends", from K-Starr.
Releasing on Palm Tree Flow Records, K Starr's "Real Friends" features dancehall artist Jon Bling (former Black Blingazs dancer), and spins a lyrical saga of friendship. Executive Producer Nigel "A&R" Angus remarks, "'Real Friends' is a song that everyone can relate too. At one point it's been a time in everyone's life, where a friendship has been questioned. We took this story line from the song, and weaved it into the video."
With a catchy hook "Mi know mi real friends, good friends are hard to find, I'm glad to know mine" backed by a contemporary dancehall track, "Real Friends" introduces K Starr as an early contender for the 2013 music scene. The black and white visuals, add a cinematic flair to the mini movie directed by Jamal Jones with co-direction from Nigel "A&R" Angus. Adding a dash of energy to the mix is Gallis Empire, Juss Dance and CBS dancers.
"Real Friends" can be seen now via Palm Tree Flow Records YouTube page and will be available in digital markets on December 29th. A promotional version can be downloaded here.
