International Reggae Artist Ghost Release Inspirational Song 'Humbly Before Thee' Uplifting The World Through His Music


If there was ever a time where the world needs uplifting and inspiration, the time is now, and through music, sound and power, artists like Carlton Hylton aka "Ghost" have lent their voices to the cause.


Coming to prominence thanks to his vocal agility, flawless falsetto, and countless cover versioned songs, Ghost who is regarded as one of the most powerful voices of Jamaica. Carlton ‘Ghost’ Hylton and MS Music produced the uplifting and inspirational "Humbly Before Thee"

Written by Ghost, the single serves as a spiritual re-commitment and shows that inspirational music message transcends time and genre. After all, scriptures show us that music was a common part of worship, and that we should show our praise in song. Psalm 95:1 “Oh come, let us sing to the Lord; let us make a joyful noise to the rock of our salvation!” is just one of many bible verses that express the sentiments.

Speaking on his heartfelt musical offering, the renowned and celebrated singer explained his motivation for "Humbly Before Thee ". “I know that there is a Creator in the world that created everything. That Creator is in everyone. There is a light that shines inside of everyone, good and evil. We are nothing without him and if we could just seek that light of goodness inside of us, the world will be in a better place.”

Ghost continues, “I wrote this song two years ago but it is relevant to what is going on right now with this pandemic. I am urging the world to seek the light within ourselves and let us humble ourselves to the Creator. We need him to help solve all this chaos. So, let us unite and make the world a better place.”- Ghost
