The phrase "The man with the Midas Touch" has been used by many, but, has definitely been exemplified by dancehall living legend Bounty Killer.
His weekly Sunday even "Hennessy Bounty Sundays" which is now a little over 6 months at the current location (Village Cafe, 20 Barbican Road) which features Alliance/ANG selectors (house selectors) alongside a guest selector locally and Int'l each week is by far the premiere Sunday event and most talked about, which has music Industry Insiders, Celebrities and artites swarming the event.
It was certainly no different last night Sunday October 22, 2011. With dancehall Icons Bounty Killer and Beenie man
alongside Elephant man in attendance, the event was a major one.
Also in attendance Bling Dwag, Serani,
Patexx, Calado, Flexx, Kibaki, Savage, Stacious, Dolla Koin, Jinyus, Big Wayne, K-Queens, Singing Sweet, acclaimed producer Jazzwad and other celebrities.
As early as 1:30am the club was jam packed and the patrons were definitely in for a musical treat from DJ Eggbert who provided a "Good Times Edition" early juggling to guest selectors Alaska Sound and the very impressive Dj Crazy Cris from Mobay.
The patrons got a preview of the lyrical battle between Bounty Killer and Beenie Man while both artistes seemed to be in a happy and party mood enjoying responses from the patrons!
The party was absolutely bi-partisan and this was attested to by Alaska's selector who stated that this was one of the few events where he played and was NOT
dictated to in regards to song selecton, Then afterwards played a few Vybz Kartel.
Beenie man was undoubtedly King of the "Dance-Hall" as he along with John Hype had the camera and patrons attention doing some unique dance moves.
Patrons and fans of Bounty Killer and Elephant man
got photo opps with both artiste throughout the night.

Rygin King ready to take dancehall throne - He has been racking up hit after hit in recent times. His songs, 'Things
Go Change' and 'How Me Grow', have been creating a buzz on the local
scene, igniting the dancehall space and has helped to cement the
up-and-coming artiste's place on 'the ones to watch out for' list.
