CUJ Gosplash 2015 filled with food, fun and fellowship!
Action Entertainment in association with the RJR Communications Group gave the patrons their money's worth at the 3rd staging of the Credit Unions of Jamaica Gosplash 2015 on Emancipation Day at Sugarmans Beach in St Catherine.
The day, which began a little after 10am, had supporters making their way on to the beach nicely to the smooth sounds of Dj Kevin Lewis of Megamaz Fm and Dj Powa while enjoying the rides for the kids, the food and the beach.
With clear skies and a warm breeze the beach gave the perfect backdrop to what would be a gospel explosion of talent and family entertainment.
Games and giveaways were also a part of the excitement with RJR Radio personality and MC the "Burgerman". This preempted the first of two concerts hosted by TBC FM personality Ronn Albert.
As was expected the crowd grew extensively for the main event whilst listening to the selections of Dj Marlon Young and enjoying additional giveaways from main sponsors by host and promoter, Markland ‘Action’ Edwards.
Taking over the emcees duties for the main concert were Nadine Blair and Basillia Barnaby- Cuff both from LOVE 101 FM.
Hearing the sound of the live band, the patrons began making their way to the front of the stage to be fully enamored in the performances to come. Opening the night was Katalyst who got the crowd engaged and eager for the rest of the acts who would touch the stage.
The Other performers included Chozenn, Omari, Dawn Martin, Jodiann Pantry, Ryan Mark and Dj Nicholas who captured the attention of the audience from the beginning of his set until the end.
While the audience got ready for the headline performer, a small promotion for the yearly event "Jesus Party" was done and the night’s word was injected by Bishop C Everton Thomas. The veteran headliner for the night, Papa San, came and commanded the entire Gosplash audience and had patrons begging for more.
"Gosplash is growing and it is poised to be the annual must attend summer gospel event for Christians and non Christians alike who are seeking wholesome entertainment" Said event promoter Markland 'Action' Edwards.
