Carlos Turner - Dancehall and Reggae music artiste

Carlos Turner - Chosen early to a higher calling, music runs through Turner's blood genetically engineered by a Father who started his own record label back in the early eighties.

This chemistry connected to a mother with golden voice passed on, and sandwiched together by brothers and sisters aplenty,

inspired an atmosphere ripe for growing lyrics poetic, and rhythms kinetic! 'All Eyes on Me'!!! For sure, its Turner's time to deliver what he says, is a way of easing all stresses, and giving thanks for a gift given from birth.

As a young boy, aged nine, He was saturated with R&B and Soul, fooled around on the piano in church and danced Sunny Dale school days always writing on slips of paper, desk note books, whatever came to hand, emotions spurring on the flow. This young maestro just writes words like electricity to a socket, matched like a ‘negative to positive’ glow.

J.Omari Harrigan, owner & creative director of Chosen Sounds studio is right “Carlos Turner is a song writer, Producer and singer… You can almost see the rhythms in his mind processing like a computer, vibes into lyrics - Into music - reflecting moods of a man free styling just because he loves the music!” R & B really is his first love he says, but Dance Hall is the flavour of our time and to that beat he flows.

From the moment you hear 'Summer Love' you knew this man "was one of God's greatest gifts" and obviously so did Payday Records in Jamaica. The whole crew heard him in the right place at the right time and Kevin Green, one of the biggest producers in the Jamaican Dance Hall genre, got excited.

Movado, Bounty Killa, Busy Signal, Einstein, the list of international industry stars interested in his style and future collaborations are inevitable. Turner's influences read like the “who's who”: from Chuck Berry, Brian McKnight, Wayne Wonder, Music SoulChild to Craig David and Corrine Bailey!  He is indeed Antigua’s R’nB Reggae Soulchild
