Russian of Head Concussion Records
One of most popular upcoming producer, DJ/artiste is Tarik "Russian" Johnston.
Russian is a member of the Head Concussion Records, base in Kingston, Jamaica. He busted on the scene after
doing some work on Vybz Kartel's chart topper single "Life Sweet".
This was shortly followed with dancehall riddims such as "Go Go Club, Remedy and Nuh Fear, all of which made it big
in the dancehall sessions and night clubs.
Since 2010-early 2011 he has produce a number of club bangers some which are:
I-Octane's- Mine Who You A Diss
Chan Dizzy's- Nuh Strange Face and
Vybz Kartel's-Lyricist
Plus Konshens and Tarrus Riley’s hit single, Good Girl Gone Bad. He also collaborated with Vybz Kartel for Jeans and Fitted.
He has also done work with Flippa Mafia, Gentleman and Gyptian.
