Hung Jury In Buju Banton Trial
Hung Jury In Buju Banton Trial - The jurors in the Buju Banton (Mark Myrie) trial have told US Judge Jim Moody that they have failed to come to a unanimous decision despite almost three days of deliberations.
The jury, which was deliberating since Thursday, had sent a second note to the judge claiming they were unable to reach a unanimous verdict.
A new trial date is to be set and will be announced today.
Banton's
lawyer David Markus has applied for bail for his client and the judge
is expected to address the application later today.
