Carson Fyah

Carson Fyah (Dumaim Carson) was born on February 4th 1986 in Spanish Town and grew up in Portmore in the area called Gregory Park.

He inherited a passion for music from his father, Lester Mickey Carson, who sang and recorded in the 1960s and wrote music for Barrington Levy and other artists.

Fyah began singing with friends in his community when he was 12 years old, but it wasn’t until years later that he began to consider music as a career.

Little by little he began to dedicate more time and energy to his craft until he began stepping out seriously as a singer in 2015. It has been a hard road, and there have been times when he felt like giving up, but he chose to push through.

In early 2016 Fyah released a single under the stage name Jubinile, entitled “Higher Rems.” Later that year, he changed his stage name to Carson Fyah and released the music video for his single “Go Look Wuk.” On July 23, 2017 he will release his first EP, entitled The Rising Of Carson Fyah.

His debut EP reflects the influence of legendary artists such as Bob Marley, Capleton, and Sizzla Kalonji, as well as the positive attitude, faith, and strong work ethic that has propelled him forward to this point.

Carson Fyah continues to work hard, and hopes to follow up the EP with a full length album and an international tour.
