World Renowned Percussionist Uzziah ‘Sticky’ Thompson Is Dead


Uzziah ‘Sticky’ Thompson, world renowned percussionist died today (August 25) of a heart attack at his home in Miami Florida.


Sticky’s son Kevin Thompson confirmed the news with Music News earlier.

He was 78 years old.

Uzziah ‘Sticky’ Thompson has worked with the likes of Bob Marley, Jimmy Cliff, Burning Spear and countless others.
