Where does reggae music come from?

Where does Reggae Music come from? or You could just ask, where was Reggae music originated?

Reggae music was originated on a small island in the Caribbean name Jamaica.

Before Reggae, the most popular music on the island was Rythm & Blues then came to Ska and Rocksteady.

Ok, back to the question "Where Does Reggae Music come from?" Reggae music was originated in Trench Town, Kingston, Jamaica.

It has been reported that it was started in the backyard of a famous rasta man name Ras Cardo in the late 1960s. Reggae is a mixture of Rythm & Blues, Ska and Rocksteady.

This is the same yard where Bob Marley and the Wailers used to hang-out and rehearsed.

Bob Marley & The Wailers which included former members Bunny Wailer and Peter Tosh has been credited as the band which took Reggae music and its message to the world.
