The Paradise Lost Crew Invades the North Coast


With only a few months to go Jamaica will host its first EDM festival with a premium first world production according to Rolling Stones magazine, dubbed Paradise Lost, the event is focused on bringing EDM fans to the home of Dub music that inspired its creation.


CBS radio station KROQ broke the news that Paradise Lost sold out of presales tickets in 3 days, Sources say Paradise Lost has also broken all presales records of ticket sold in Jamaica; which prompted their overseas tech team NBBL. Inc to purchase two new servers to accommodate the overwhelming traffic to the paradiselostjamaica.com website in anticipation of January ticket sales.

NBBL Co-founder Nick Cane “We are ready our servers will accommodate up to 400,000 people hitting the site at once which should more than cover PLF2016 traffic, we are up for the challenge the NBBL team is 150% behind Paradise Lost team, we are all a big family now”.

Recently organizers of the event launched a “Visit Paradise Campaign” visiting some of the most beautiful places in Ocho Rios which is also the home of Paradise Lost, to capture intimate moments with the people who define the great city.

One such stop was Evita’s Italian Jamaican restaurant, were the team meet with owner Evita, and sat down for dinner while they discussed the history of the restaurant, it’s delicious foods, and `the secret that attracts people for around the world to this beautiful oasis.

“It isn’t only about the event, we built Paradise Lost with a focus on patron’s having `a true Jamaican experience and that starts with our people we want the world to be introduced to the power of Jamaican love and how it defines the paradise we live in, and story tellers like Evita make it all worth it.

It’s all about the experience we intend to tour the Island and capture the true essence of Jamaica even the coconut man chopping a cold coconut is an experience in itself.” Quoted, Debbion Smith of Smokin Acez Media consultants head of local public relations for Paradise Lost.

This marks the first of the Paradise Lost teams three-part journey to cover the entire Island. The team intends on customizing an experience for their patrons, by introducing them to all treasures Jamaica has to offer.

As a part of the promotional Campaign, the team visited attractions such as Dunns River, Dolphin Cove, Evita’s Italian Restaurant, Konoko Falls, and the attraction known popularly as Blue Hole, now known as Island Gully Falls and more.

Immediately after Christmas, the team will be on the road hunting for more hidden treasures. So far, sales trends, saw patrons choosing Kingston as a destination of arrival so the team intends to highlight Kingston via the Bob --Marley Museum, Devon House and the history of sound systems.

This event, promises to be an exciting one, being the first of its kind. Paradise Lost will take place March 10-12, 2016 and Grizzly’s Plantation Cove, St. Ann, Jamaica with headliners such as Bassnectar and Tiesto Dub music legend King Jammy’s, AlunaGeorge, Felix Jaehn, Big Gigantic, and many more.
