Teflon Heads To St. Lucia & Prepares For Month-Long European Tour
KINGSTON, JAMAICA | SEPTEMBER 25, 2013 | Following a plethora of quality performances at the recently concluded Irie FM Road Show, Dream Weekend Live, LIME Skool Aid, The Jamaica Cancer Society ‘Relay For Life’ and the newly opened Famous Night Club in Portmore, St. Catherine; Reggae singer Teflon is happy with the renewed interest in his career.
His video for the conscious ballad ‘Love & Adore You’ is also poised at No.2 on the CVM-TV Hit-list Video Countdown.
Set to depart the island this weekend for a stint in St. Lucia the Rastafarian crooner says he’s pleased with the current direction of his career, attributing the resurgence to hard work and the relentless dedication of his team. Upon his return from the Caribbean island Teflon will shift his focus to Europe for a month long sojourn on that continent. Dubbed ‘Love & Adore You’ the eight-city tour is expected to make stops in Austria, Sweden, Germany, Spain, Denmark, and Finland among others. His inaugural performance will get on the way October 1st in Sweden with the final show set for October 31st.
While on tour, Teflon will also be releasing a follow-up video for the collaborative effort ‘Same Struggle’ with Capleton as part of his ongoing promotional campaign.
Teflon who has endured some challenging years, scored his first No.1 hit six years ago with the thought provoking composition ‘Gun Rise’, on the ‘Bullet Proof Vest’ Rhythm. The video remained at the top spot for several weeks on numerous charts and marked the official entry of one of the island’s most prolific young Rastafarian singers. His debut album ‘Motherless Child’ also peaked at No.24 on the iTunes Top 100 Reggae Chart.
