Syndicate Records Releases Bounty Killer Ft. Busta Rhymes & Patexxx (Buss Out) “Summertime” Remix Single
Kingston-Jamaica-May, 30, 2011-Bounty Killer and Busta Rhymes are back in a big way just in time for the summer, with Bounty Killer’s new remix release “Summertime”.
The song features Busta Rhymes & Patexxx. Since the official release of the original “Summertime” single in 2010, just less than a year ago, there has been steam building up on the local and international dancehall, urban and underground airwaves.
This “Summertime” remix definitely has that club vibe, especially with the addition of Hip Hop icon Busta Rhymes on the track along with upcoming sing jay Patexxx, one of the newest members of Bounty Killer’s ANG (Alliance Next Generation).
Patexxx who sings on the song’s hook also happens to be the quintessential Golden Boy of his home, Parish of St. Thomas. The trio undoubtedly exudes a great deal of musical chemistry, which is evident on the “Remix”.
The addition of Busta Rhymes as the featured artist on the track certainly helps to give the record cross-over appeal into the bigger Hip Hop market. This remix has the makings of international success written all over it and the potential of becoming a club anthem for the summer of 2011.
“Summertime” was produced by Jamaican born Canadian Producer “Syndicate”, for Syndicate Records. He describes his sound as “Urban Dancehall” a fusion of dancehall, Hip Hop and R&B and has previously also produced for Lisa Hyper and Ding Dong who has worked with Sean Kingston. The track is called “Party Time” and featured Patexxx.
It was initially released in May of 2010 and received rotation on local and international radio. Furthermore, the music video aired on local television programs like RE TV and Hype TV.
Syndicate says it was an incredible and humbling experience working with two of his favorite artist’s Bounty Killer and Busta Rhymes, and he would like to work with more Dancehall, Hip Hop and R&B artists in the future. Both tracks will be made available for download purchase on ITunes and Amazon soon.
