Stylez Teams Up with Son of Legendary Reggae Artist and Dancer Turn Singjay On New Single
Rave All Night
Since his split with SK was announced, "Stylez", the artist who coined the term “Pop-tois” (a fusion of Jamaica’s popular dancehall music combined with America’s pop music) has been busy on his promotional debut EP “Stylez And Hiz 6ix Diciplez”. The album lead single titled “Good Ole A Dweet” exploded on the music scene to rave reviews.
Since then, Stylez has been releasing hot and steamy videos as well as performing to the delight of his fans. He recently shared the stage with Grammy Award winner Beenie Man and the "Energy God" himself Elephant man. Stylez has been working tirelessly as he establishes himself on the international stage.
The upcoming single "Rave All Night" has Stylez team up with dancer extraordinaire turned artist "Ding Dong" and son of legendary reggae artist Pinchers, a man in his own right dancehall/reggae "Junior Pinchers". "Rave All Night" is a fun and upbeat song who will undoubtedly become a spring/summer anthem. Stylez treated a few selected panel of industry insiders to review his single "Rave All Night" from his next upcoming EP slated for release in the spring. The feedback has been positive and the excitement contagious as great music is once again being delivered!
Stylez says of "Rave All Night" - "The track is fun and energetic, relative and cultural. The concept came up while I was listening to Bob Marley's Every Little The Gonna Be Alright, weird but that was the inspiration behind that song. Jamming to his album gave me a mellow, mixed with fun and happy feeling so i went in the production studio with my co-producer blahzae and we started making the beat for it and the song came together right there and then."
"I had the song for about 6 months b4 I even started working on my EP but as you know time do everything. The funny thing about the calab with Ding Dong is i was calling, texting, tweeting, emailing everyone to get in touch with Ding Dong from the first day I recorded the song but had no luck until one day i was browsing twitter an buck up pan the real ding dong twitter and tweet him and from the the link set.. approach him about business and said I have a song that will not be completed until you are on it because it is only rite. he then said sen it over and that was a wrap lol. He had the same feeling i had wen he heard it, I remember like yesterday his reaction was like Youth but u could never do a song like this and nuh have ding dong pan it lmao... "
"Salute to Ding Dong still cause he def humble and respect other people craft and I respect that about him. suh nuff respect. As for Jr. Pinchers thats my dupes we been doing business for quite some time now so it was only natural for him to jump on this track as this is also his style of music.. Mad Mad. Overall The song is amazing..."
