Ever since Lil Slick touched American soil, he has been grinding for his place in the industry.
Having spent only a decade in the U.S., he formed a record label as the C.E.O., in partnership with his cousin. During this time, Lil Slick recorded his first song, “In the Club.” This single resulted in a big hit building momentum in the Soca/Dancehall community.
After the huge momentum from his first single, Lil Slick was invited to perform his hits as the guest artist for a Brooklyn block party. Also, his continued success on the dancehall scene, came from songs like, “Set the Hood on Fire,” “Remember Our Love,” and “When She Wine.”
Today, Lil Slick has amassed an extensive catalogue of material by which he performs at local showcases across the NYC and Long Island region.
In addition to his showcases and guest performances, his accomplishments on the dancehall scene have granted him the privilege of performing up and down the east coast, and also inTrinidad. Currently, Lil Slick can be found on the intro to Ride With Me TV. Ride With Me TV has been airing on WWOR TV My 9 for several years.
