Rockstar Sound System

Rockstar international sound system will be celebrating its 42nd anniversary this year 2012.

The sound was started in Kensington, St. James, Jamaica.

It was just a small party system but after its present owner Romie bought it and decieded to expand on it. Rockstar soon became one of the biggest, Heaviest and mosted feared system in Montego Bay, Jamaica.

It is now owned and operated by Romeo Gordon.

The sound is base in Granville, St James, Jamaica and Queens, New York.

Known for it hardcore juggling and Dubplates, In the early 1990s to 2000s it was one of the most feared Sound System when it comes on to clashing.

Rockstar has gone up against some of the giants in the clash world, sounds such as Pieces, Body Guard, Electro Force, Jaro and Jah Creation, just to name a few.

They are the first sound system to stop playing Vinyl and convert to CD (compac disc) in 1994. They were second by Nitro CD sound which was started in 1997.

Some of the pass selectors are: Splurt, Fingaz, Senior Killa, Dj Rohan, Dexter Pepper, The Late Beagle Bailey, Murdock, Droopy British and Introteck, among many others.

Rygin King ready to take dancehall throne - He has been racking up hit after hit in recent times.
