Reggae Recording artiste Frederick Osagie known as “ Freddie B “
Frederick Osagie known as “ Freddie B. “ is a unique Reggae Artist based in Toronto, Canada. He was born in Nigeria's Edo state West Africa.
His parents saw him through primary and high school . As a child he was so much in love with music and started to develop interest by listening to any kind of music that played on the radio. The first albums he purchased were by Eric Donaldson, Peter Tosh and Lucky Dube. These great artists inspired Freddie B and it wasn't long before he started to play Reggae music.
Coming from a poor part of West Africa and determined to play music Freddie B carved his own carve a guitar which had 3 strings. He entertained family and friends with his instrument and voice. Eventually acquiring a real 6 string guitar Freddie B started to pursue music in earnest.
He started writing his own songs with the intention of recording them one day.Freddie B immigrated to Canada 2005 and soon after formed an African band playing in many venues in and around the Toronto area refining his writing and performance over the years.
Collaborating with music arranger Sam Weller at Slamm Studio in Toronto and bassist and recording engineer Anthony Hibbert in Kingston, Jamaica Freddie B released a single entitled“ Summertime “ with a video as the first single from his upcoming album.
Now his second single “ Bang Bang “ is released with a video as well.
Freddie B's full length album titled “ summertime “ will be available this spring.
