Reggae Falls St Thomas Best Kept Little Secret

Reggae Falls is located in the parish of St Thomas, Jamaica. It is approximately 10 miles from the town centre of Morant Bay.

The water from the falls is crystal clear, a bit cold but tolerable. Some visitors to Reggae Falls has described it as a national treasure.

Getting to the Falls can be a bit tedious as the road surface is not paved, which make the ride a bit bumpy. After exiting your vehicle you will have to walk a little distance to the falls.

Visitors are allowed to have their refreshments by the sides of the falls or in their mode of transportation.

What Is The Entry Fee For Reggae Falls? - Entrance to the Falls is Free, but you might have to pay for parking which some locals charge from anywhere between 50-200 Jamaican dollars.

If you are planning to visit Reggae Falls we encourage you to wear beach shoes, because the rocks can be hard on your feets. 

Is the Falls safe for childrens? Yes it is, but they do advises visitors to keep a close eye on their children especially when there is high current in the water.

Also please ensure that kids stay away from the edge of the falls.A few things to bear in mind:

• There are now paved walkways
• There are no guard rails
• The water can be a bit too cold for minors

The Falls are opened 24hrs per day, but the best time to vist is before sundown.

Presently there are no hotels or motels close to Reggae Falls but there are hotels and Villas in Morant Bay area.
