Rebel Control set for a busy 2012

Rebel Control have plenty to do in 2012 with 2 new albums in progress as well as featuring on releases for a number of other artists .


The band's live set already features a number of tracks from the forthcoming dancehall infused Soundsystem One which will include last summers single Whine Ya Body Down !, crowd favourite What A Combination (which will be the next single) as well as a bunch of brand new songs.

The band are also working on an old school reggae/ dub style album of cover versions under the working title Messages, the songs being chosen as much for their lyrical content as music and melody.

In addition to their own work Rebel Control will be guesting on a new album by Oblong, have already recorded the vocals on a thumping cover version of a 1990's dance hit with Spainish producer Uno Moono for release in the summer and have a collaboration with Left Step Band in the pipeline.

Since their 2099 debut Jammin At Rebel H.Q. the band have been gigging hard playing festival and club dates in the U.K. and Europe and supporting acts including Tinie Tempah, Dub Pistols and recently playing U.K. shows with Easy All Stars.
2012 is already shaping up to be a busy year for live shows too .

It could get a little crazy ... !
