US based recording artiste Rasta British is pounding the promotional pavement in support of his latest musical offering, "Top of Things."
From his 9 track EP titled “Touchdown,” the song is well on its way to becoming a massive hit.
Released in early March on the Versi Don Record label, the song has been gaining steam on the local and international market as well. The reception for "Top of Things” has been tremendous thus far, so much so that the singjay will be coming to Jamaica to further ramp up the promotion.
He says, “Plans are already on the way for a promotional run to Jamaica. I am planning on widening my fan base there, and at the same time make some strategic moves. Yes, it's a little harder to impact the local market but the crowd seems to love the song so far.”
A simple but solid track, Rasta British aims on igniting his musical career with this one. The song is an unconventional success story that speaks explicitly of growth and dexterity. He expresses that in order for him to attain this level of success he had to put in the work; but there are always people who will try to tear him down without knowing the many challenges that he had to face. He however concludes that even though they don’t want him to shine or survive he will remain on “Top of Things” and ultimately continue to rise.
Indeed a fitting title and a well crafted track; it’s catchy, melodic, and boasts a memorable and relatable hook.
Currently, the song is available for purchase on every major digital music outlets. In addition, the artiste has released the accompanying visual for the track that can be seen on most local channels.
