PROMOTIONAL GIRL INJURED DURING RDX's PERFORMANCE AT RUM BAR CHUG IT SERIES

Popular Beach Party Series, Rum Bar ‘Chug It’ was on fire on Sunday Night at Sugarmans Beach in Portmore as Reggae Dancehall Xtraordinaires RDX took to the stage to do what they do best, perform!

Releasing a slew of hits on stage including Jump, Kotch, Broad Out, Ride it and Lose Yourself - a collaboration with Major Lazer recently reaching 1 million views on Youtube - the Duo excited the thousands of patrons present, specifically the females.

RDX had the huge crowd in a frenzy with the ginormous hit ‘Ride It’, especially when Rum Bar Promotional girls and female patrons joined the duo on stage adding to the high energy delivery.

During this performance however, a bottle filled with sand was hurled on stage hitting and injuring one of the Rum Bar Rum promotional girls. The bottle allegedly thrown by an intoxicated VIP patron, rendered the promo girl unconscious for almost five minutes.

She was rushed to the nearby ambulance on location where she was revived and treated. Within 24 hours following the incident both Delomar X and Renegade have contacted her personally to express their sympathy for the incident and check up on her condition. She sustained no serious injuries following the incident.

Still unsure of the motivation behind the attack the promotional girl stated to the media “I hope whoever did it gets theirs because that was so irresponsible”.

RDX member Delomar warns patrons to be more conscious of the repercussions of their irresponsible actions “it could have been a whole lot worse but the incident was very unnecessary. Everyone needs to drink and act responsibly, don’t spoil anyone’s fun with dangerous behavior, RDX will never support that”

In the meantime, the Duo continues to enjoy heavy rotation of their new singles ‘Bad Gyal Wine’ and ‘Hold Yuh Lane’ whilst they work on finalizing their European tour set to begin in May. RDX performs LIVE next in Jamaica at Code Red’s Anniversary Party this Easter Weekend.
