Point Zero Making a Name With “Basketball”

Dancehall recording artiste Andrew Solomon more popularly known as Point Zero hails from the communities of Richmond Park and Waterhouse in Kingston and is set on making a name for himself since entering the scene with the street banger “Basketball” in early 2016.

Point Zero was first introduced to music at the age of fourteen (14), writing songs for personal entertainment when it was discovered by his cousin that he was in fact, a terrific writer, who later encouraged him to take the craft seriously. Inspired by major acts such as Bounty Killer, Buju Banton, Shabba Ranx and Baby Cham, young Andrew began his musical career. He had the opportunity to write songs for Alozade and his mentor, Bounty Killer.

Point Zero got his street fame from his Basketball single and has since released the song “Bark” on Apartment 19 Music’s Shellaz Riddim. He is currently working on several singles and rhythm appearances for other producers such as Blaqk Sheep, Cornelius ‘Neil’ Daley, Robert Livingston, Riff Raff, Slaughter Global and Cleon ‘Mineral Boss’
