Her brothers were also musicians, who held several Jam Session events at their home; these sessions coupled with her involvement in her church’s choir lead to Phillye’s undying love for music.

In 2014 she released her first single ‘Live Your Life’ which showed d much promise landing her on several international radio stations; this has also garnered her fan base in the Caribbean. The songstress is happy to know that her music is reaching far and wide and is captivating her listeners at a deeper level. She said, “When I sing and make music, I do it from my soul to the soul of the listener. I want them to know that it’s my joy to sing for them and with them”.

In Atlanta (USA), Rico Vibes at DA Flava Radio.com expressed an early interest saying “Phillye has the kind of voice that is perfectly suited for Lover’s Rock. Our listeners request her single daily.” The same sentiments were echoed at Flava 105.1 in Boston, Irie Jam Radio in New York as well as Power 96.5 FM. Several other radio stations followed with great responses.
