Nostaljah Band - Reggae, Rnb, Jazz

Based in Cape Coral, Florida, Nostaljah Band was formed in late

2015 and have grown to be one of the top Reggae Bands in Southwest Florida.

Nostaljah incorporates a blend of roots reggae, dancehall, r&b, neo soul and jazz in their repertoire which is what differentiates them from other bands.

Kardo (bass/vocal) is a native of Jamaica who grew up playing reggae music, jazz and r&b. Kardo has shared the stage with many international reggae artists such as Morgan Heritage, Shaggy, Fantan Mojah, and other artists such as Kem and James Ingram. His bass playing influences include Victor Wooten, Marcus Miller and Stanley Clarke while his vocal style reflects that of Damian Marley, Stephen Marley, Tarrus Riley, Romain Virgo, and Christopher Martin, all from which he draws influence.

Drea (vocal) was born in Florida but has traveled all over the United States which resulted in her welcoming a number of music styles such as neo soul, r&b, jazz and more. She has received professional vocal training in both high school and college which has helped in shaping her powerhouse voice.

Dre’s style reflects that of Lauryn Hill, Jill Scott, Erykah Badu, Beyonce, India Arie, Adele, Corinne Bailey, Anita Baker, Jennifer Hudson, and more, all of whom she is influenced by.

In the Reggae Arena, a year after launching, they have performed on Reggae Festivals with international Reggae artists such as Kymani Marley, Etana, Ky-Enie, and are scheduled for more reggae festivals headlined by artists such as Maxi Priest.
