The artist whose real name is Orane Oniel Stanley was born on October 25, 1990, at the Kingston Jubelee Hospital in Kingston, Jamaica, is from a small community name Watson Groove in St Catherine, Jamaica, but he now reside in the United States of America.

Norahto who is the son of Navine and Alphanso Stanley attended the Gregory Park High School based in Portmore. He recorded his first song in 2007, which was a rap song while he was in a Rap-group in the United States. His first major performance was at Kings Plaza on a  talent show.

Norahto who is the breadwinner for his family back home in Jamaica, He has to juggle numerous jobs along with music just to take care of his loved one. Places such as Golden Crust and MacDonald are just some of the places he has worked.
