Montego Bay artists Taking Over Dancehall

Montego Bay artists Taking Over Dancehall - Montego Bay artists Taking Over Dancehall - Montego Bay dancehall artists taking over dancehall music scene.

In recent times there are a few Mobay artists who have come to the forefront and are slowly creeping up and carving out their space in the dancehall music industry.

While some artists depend on social media to get a break in the business, these artists have found a different formula.  How did they do it?  Unity, even thou these artists are from different communities in the parish of St. James they seem to be working as a team.

Another factor is that the communities are supporting their own. Most of the songs which are released by these artists are known words for words by even the toddlers.

If you are real to the music and following the dancehall musical movement and not aline to any one side, you would have noticed that the following Mobay artists are in fact slowly taking over dancehall.

One of the hottest song in dancehall presently is by Rygin King titled "Learn". Other top tracks from him are: How Me Grow, Big Toe, Still An Emergency, Things Go Change and Paranoid.

While some might be focusing on artists like Alkaline, Masicka and Govana who are the hottest in the business overall. The biggest song in dancehall now May 2018 is Teejay's "Up Top".

We would love to see the people in other parishes start to support the Dancehall Reggae artist from their communities, like the patrons from the parish St. James is doing.
