Mobay 12 Sound System Festival

 Mobay 12 Sound System Festival - History will be created on August 6, 2018, when Sound Police presents the first-ever staging of Mobay 12 Sound Festival.

The festival will feature twelve of St James top sound systems. Its the first time anywhere in Jamaica and the world where twelve sound systems string up their systems in one venue.

The festival will be held at the Catherine Hall, Stadium in Montego Bay.

Sound Systems that will be featured on the first staging of Mobay Festival are:

  11. Sound Viper
  12. Super Strong


Although this is not a competition, the sound systems will be showing off their strength in juggling and prowess in dubplates, bassline and clarity.

This is to prove who is the best playing sound system. The mobay Sound System was birth after the popular 10 Sound System street party which used to be held in Cambridge was disbanded because of high crime rate in the area.

Rygin King ready to take dancehall throne - He has been racking up hit after hit in recent times.
