Mawnin’ Medz on Sunday, July 14 - Tropical Bliss Beach in Montego Bay kick-off breakfast party for Reggae Sumfest Week 2019

Reggae Sumfest Mawnin’ Medz

Mawnin’ Medz on Sunday, July 14th at Tropical Bliss Beach in Montego Bay is the kick-off breakfast party in what is shaping up to be a stellar week of events leading up to the Main Nights for Sumfest 2019.

Both the Touchdown King Stylo G and the Soca Monarch Skinny Fabulous will provide epic entertainment at the gorgeous venue.

Spinning music to keep everyone dancing from 6 am to 1 pm will be Mobay’s own Crazy Neil, along with DJ Courtney, Jigga and Antsman.

The dress code is beach chic; gates open at 6am. It’s brunch inclusive and will have plenty of options for purchase at the bar.

Gamal “Skinny Fabulous” Doyle

Born in St Vincent, this energetic Soca artist is a 6-time St. Vincent Soca Monarch Winner.

This “135 lb” mass of on-stage madness is known as Skinny Fabulous. Both talented and versatile, he always engages and mesmerises the crowd while on stage. With his early love of dancehall and time spent in Jamaica, combined with his Soca roots as a St. Vincentian, his baritone and catchy way of DJing his lyrics are unmistakable. Catch him and FAMALAY at this year’s Mawnin’ Medz.

ABOUT STYLO G

Jason McDermott - Stylo G
Born in Spanish Town but relocated to London at age 12, Stylo is known for his creative British-Jamaican reggae fusion style.

With his hit singles "My Yout", "Call Mi a Leader" and "Soundbwoy" which peaked at #18 on the UK Single's Chart, Stylo

His new single “Touch Down” is lighting up the charts featuring Hip Hop Hottie Nicki Minaj and Dancehall Don Vybz Kartel. It has everyone on their feet in their tracksuits and Air Force of course. Throw both or either on and come catch him at this year’s Mawnin’ Medz as he brings the badness to the beach.
