MadMen Productions Gets Loud with the Moombahton Riddim
MadMen Productions has been making its mark with fusion hits and the Moombahton Riddim delivers in kind with a potpourri of sounds, available worldwide from all major digital retailers on September 16, 2014, with pre-order available now, from FOX FUSE. The riddim was originally released for the 2013 Trinidad Carnival season but is now available for sale worldwide, for the very first time.
The soca-dance fusion compilation serves up big names in soca and dancehall, as Mr. Vegas, KES, Skinny Fabulous, MX Prime and the legendary General Grant take turns placing their trademark sounds and making this compilation one for the times.
Based in San Juan, Trinidad, MadMen Productions consists of hit producers Johann Seaton and Ricardo Rameshwar, who originally teamed up to produce all genres of music but more recently, they have created a new sound called island pop – a fusion between Trinidad’s native sounds of soca and calypso, and dance and electronic music.
The Moombahton Riddim brings us soca spiced with dance and pop influences, thereby adding international flavors to this rich island sound and now with its worldwide release, is bound to find a home far and wide.
