Lloyd "Cookie" Willacy Official Biography
Born in Highgate ,a small community in St. Mary Jamaica, growing up Lloyd "Cookie" Willacy would play the guitar for the talent shows at his school, St Mary's High, backing up the likes of a young Beres Hammond and other schoolmates.
Later Lloyd went to live in Spanish town then to Kingston where he
started playing with the Super Fenders band with founding member Derrick
Lara and Courtland White, the later now currently of Raging Fire band.
As a guitarist Lloyd Willacy as played with some the most impressive
musicians and singers from the reggae fraternity; including Jacob Miller
while he song with the Rotation band, the Happiness Unlimited with
Chokey Taylor and Michael Rose before Black Uhuru, the legendary Big
Youth, Sly Dunbar and Robbie Shakespeare, Carlton Barrett and Twinkle
Brothers to name a few.
