King Youth Lyrical, Entertaining and Solid.

Lyrical, entertaining and solid. This is how King Youth Music can be described. His lyrics and melodies will continue haunting you long after you heard it.

Based in Geneva, Switzerland, the 29-year-old deejay grew up in Brixton,UK.

He is not new to the business. Some of the European massives may have seen him in the major annual reggae festival called SummerJam, in Germany, as he was very active on the local scene.

He first got his start with the independent label LayanRaw in 2003, which released 3 streets albums between 2004 and 2007: "They can't ignore us" "I told you so" and “Meet di rasta youth“. Unfortunately, the label could not survive with the fast rise of the internet download.

After a brief break, King Youth was back to music in 2008 as the french producer Sens’High J (Y-Not Productions) asked him to voice one of his riddims.

Since then, they had a very active and professional collaboration and King Youth became an artist to watch, with many successful singles all over the world.

“Hustle Hard” was dubbed for more than 10 sounds from the UK to Jamaica and Miami. “Bad Pickney” and “Swag Sick” singles needed a video as massives were just asking for it. People were dancing on “Close To Me” in clubs from Swizerland to Canada. “Muss Come Back” went all the way to Kenya and Zimbabwe.

“Jah gave me a talent to deejay and sing so my purpose as an artist is to give thanks to the most high and spread the good news, HIM good news & good words” says King Youth.

2013 will definitely be his year. Look out for his next singles : “Money weh mi afta” featuring jamaican deejay Bramma, “Bad Suh” on the Future Troubles - the next Y-Not productions riddim coming soon, “God Bless”, “Morning Touch” featuring King Tappa and many more.

“While Dem A Hate”, you can be sure that King Youth is ready to take his career to the next level.
