Not an unfamiliar story, a young man who started singing in the church with an intense passion for the music and later aims for the stars.

What is special about Kelvin Dixon however is the clarity and quality of his vocals. In 1998 the JCDC awarded him best gospel vocalist, which is a testimony of the quality of his talent. The following year he was a finalist in the Original Gospel Competition. It was during these years that Kelvin joined up with a boy group in high school and expanded his musical awareness and experience. After many years with this group, Kelvin decided to venture out as a solo performer.

Since he has made that decision he has worked as band singer in various resorts and most noteworthy as a lead singer in award winning Jumanji Band at Coral Cliff. He has performed as a cabaret artist diversifying his skills and honing his art. He spent four (4) years sailing the seas as the Caribbean band singer for both Norwegian Cruise Lines and Royal Caribbean Cruise lines. Since his return to Jamaica he has been spending much time in the studios working on his originals.

A very good writer, coupled with his incredible vocals and passion for the music makes Kelvin Dixon a talent worth listening. He outshone a field of 40 finalists from across Jamaica to win the 2008 Tastee Talent Trail at the Grand Finals on December 6th 2008.

Kelvin won $500,000 in cash and a $500,000 talent contract, among  other prizes.Kelvin recorded Never and a cover song let's get it on done by penthouse records and Hungry belly by notice production.He has been in the studio working on new projects with his producer Dean Frazer ,and will find a hit soon, He also works with castel inc. in Florida where he showcase his original songs.

Kelvin Dixon lead sing for the Grammy award winning band Inner Circle for a year from may 2012 to may 2013 where in KELVIN Dixon tours the world with the successful group.Presently Kelvin Dixon is working on his Recording Artist career Presently.
