Jurors Actions Will Not Affect The Proceedings Of The Vybz Kartel Trial
Local sources have reported that the judge presiding over the murder case involving Dancehall artiste Vybz Kartel says that the meeting between the juror and the defense attorney will not affect the outcome or proceedings of the murder trial.
He made this ruling following a meeting in chambers with the attorneys this morning. Justice Campbell described the interaction between the two as being innocent.
The jurors were instructed to return on Thursday.
Justice Campbell told the jurors that when the case resumes it is expected to continue with the smooth flowing of witness testimonies.
Reports are that group business risk officer for Digicel, Joseph Simmonds who was at court today, expecting to testify, was told to return on Thursday as well.
Vybz Kartel and Shawn Storm along with three others are jointly charged with the August 2011 murder of Clive Lizard Williams.
