Junior Reid plans big "One Blood" Festival for 2018 - Living reggae legend Junior Reid looks forward to the first staging for his One Blood Reggae Festival in 2018.

This historic move will spring board from his recent birthday celebration which was held on June 23 at Margarittaville Ocho Rios, St Ann.

The event which was dubbed, "a galaxy of stars" because of it's unique line up with several reggae and dancehall heavy wieghts was anticipated by local and overseas patrons who turned out to support the "one blood" legend in the tourist resort town.

EARLY PROCEEDINGS

The festive night proceeded as early as the gates were open with dancehall early juggling by Stone Love Sound selectors. At approximately 12:30 am several local artiste christened the performance stage with a welcoming reception to the already packed Margarittaville.

Reid's fellow veteran musician Luciano gave an overwhelming happy birthday serenade which was well received by the One Blood singer, family and patrons.

It was pandamonium when Luciano introduce Terror Fabulous as a surprise performer. Throughout the stage show night Richie Spice, Juju Blood, Young Jr and more made incredible impact.The show came to an end at minutes pass 4 am with dominant performances by Junior Reid and the dancehall general Bounty Killa. Patrons left the north coast venue feeling  satisfied.
The "this is why we hot" artiste express gratitude for the level of support he received. 

"I want to take the time out to thank every one who come out and support Junior Reid birthday, all my staff and fellow artistes special thanks". Said the One Blood veteran.

BIGGER PLANS

In the exclusive press release via Ultra Modern Digital Media, he also stated that the one blood family is already on the drawing board for Junior Reid's One Blood Festival 2018 and has high hopes and standard for this historic move.

"We will now convert my earth strong party to a bigger festival so we all are looking forward to that big One Blood Fest in 2018 which we already start to book major artistes for that event already". Reid said.

After his party Reid traveled to the USA for a series of performance via his Living Legend album which started at the SOB in New York on June 30 and returned to the island on July 10 to continue preparation for the festival.
