J Coppa enjoys summer success with 'Cinderella'

J Coppa enjoys summer success with 'Cinderella' - Fast-rising reggae-pop artiste J Coppa has been enjoying relative success this summer, thanks to his latest single 'Cinderella'.

The track, which features up-and-coming artiste T London, has been enjoying fair rotation locally and internationally.

J Coppa said the song has been getting rave reviews from fans, and he is grateful for the support.

He said he expects it to do much better in the coming weeks as the summer draws to a close.

The artiste described the track as 'no normal collaboration', and said it has been doing as well as it has because of its international appeal.

He explained that the pop-flavoured track will do well as a crossover tune because it has the ability to resonate with more than one type of audience.

"This is a single that is set to take off on the club scene internationally. Since its release, it has been on rotation in several Caribbean countries. The video will be dropping in a matter of weeks, and this is one of my most exciting projects yet. It has a vibe that everyone anywhere in the world can connect with," he said, pointing out that his aim is to strengthen Jamaica's presence in the music business overseas.

"I am focused on taking Jamaica back into the mainstream pop market, where we have had a lot of success in the past. I have high hopes for Cinderella; it's a fusion of reggae and Afrobeat, and the chorus already has listeners hooked. It is already being played on radio stations across Jamaica, and the reception from the ladies, especially, is superb."

In a bid to keep the momentum around the song going, J Coppa has formed a promotion team and is currently executing a street campaign to get the music to the Jamaican public.

The artiste is also set to release his debut EP album later this year, titled Mink.
