IZMY’s new single “Forever Free” to be released April 18th

The fresh singer-songwriter will launch her new song and video soon. In her second single, IZMY is pursuing her talent, delivering a voice of change and strength.


Unique collaboration between soul and tradition

Her stage name is IZMY, a name that will make some wonder. But in this case of this talented singer-songwriter, her personality is what you should be curious about.
Born in Germany to parents from Turkish origin, IZMY was always living in a world of complex cultures and versatile ethnicities. Her name is just as exotic as the music and her upbringing, a world where being different was part of the daily routine.

IZMY’s first single, “Broken Angel” was released February 2013. The song tells an emotional tale, based on IZMY’s reality, a product of her life in Germany as a child immigrant, torn from her family native land. The lyrics take us through her touching rollercoaster and revel her life journey, told in sweet notes of truth and pain.

In her new single "forever free", you can trace her pursuit to seek her inner voice, a voice that got her the attention of the world-renowned producer-songwriter Bezalel Aloni. A few months ago, IZMY decided to contact Bezalel Aloni. The two began working on exciting projects soon to be released. Aloni is primarily known for his 30 years of work as a producer, manager and song writer for Ofra Haza, an International Israeli-born recording artist. But this Grammy-nominated producer collaborated with many others, recording artists such as Hans Zimmer, Don Was ,Iggy pop, Paula Abdul, Paul Anka, Sisters of Mercy, Goran Bregovic, Frank Peterson and more. It was clear when IZMY and Bezalel Aloni met - the
road to releasing a new single was paved.

With the birth of her new single “Forever Free” lyrics and new part of music by Bezalel Aloni, IZMY takes another turn around the world. The new single is based on a Mongolian war song. Can you guess which Mongolian war-lord inspired the new single? No other than Genghis Khan, Also known as “The great emperor”. The new single. “Forever Free” was once an old war song, dedicated and sang to the great Mongolian leader.

Bezalel Aloni and IZMY joined hands and talent to create this new single, providing their own interpretation of the traditional song, turning it from a violent sparked war theme into a song speaking about hope and serenity, shying away from the hostility and negativity exists all around us.

Her mission as a female artist is not only to bring her art into light. This singer-song writer is constantly delivering a message of peace and unity, a message not told enough nowadays.
